HQHA will sponsor a clinic by Randy Rieman at Waikii Ranch Saturday, March 8 and Sunday March 9. Many of you are familiar with Randy from his years spent at the Parker Ranch starting colts.
Randy has worked with some of the industries most respected horseman including Bill Dorrance , Bryan Neubert , Ray Hunt , and Joe Wolter. For the past 30 years he has made his living on horseback working as a cowboy as well as starting and training stock horses for the general public.
All disciplines are welcome, and each horse and rider will be evaluated on their own experience and ability . Randy works " Where the Horse Is Now " so that the lesson is adjusted to each individuals needs .
Many " Problems " arise with performance because the horse has a poor foundation on which all correct movements are based. Randy will help find those missing pieces in your horses foundation. Wherever there is confusion or dissatisfactory results is where Randy likes to work-- each horse can improve it's level of response if the rider can clearly communicate the cues and signals with timing, feel and balance.
Randy's goal is to help each rider learn to ride with a pro-active approach, to be assertive but not aggressive and to increase the riders awareness of what both the horse and rider are doing. Participation is limited. Click here for flyer and registration.
