HQHYA Youth Club gathering at Panaewa

Our next youth club activity, will be an excursion to the Panaewa Equestrian Center and also to the Panaewa Rainforest Zoo.
At the Equestrian Center, we will tour and explore the various types of enclosures available for horses. We will further examine and discuss the pros & cons of these various housing, feeding, and watering methods for the horses. *It is also our hopes to view the race track, cross country course, & dressage arena.
Shortly after our tour, we will proceed to the Rainforest Zoo for lunch. Please remember to bring a sack lunch! We’ll have cold drinks and snacks only.
Please RSVP by May 21st … it is important for us to know how many will be attending and who will have a ride to & from Hilo. There is a $15 fee for non-members to join us . (This $15 will be considered membership payment for 2009) *Adults are needed to help with the driving of our youths.
WHAT’S COMING UP NEXT FOR SUMMER??? The Upcoming Events are … Waikii Camp Out, Play Day, Movie Night, and Trail Ride. We have also had offers of introduction to Polo and roping…any interest? We’re planning monthly activities … “ so let’s get out there and find lots of new members to help make this a fun summer!!! “
